Girls: Faults and Ideals was first published in 1892. The work before you contains the original text with minor changes and updates. On many pages we have inserted Scripture readings and an occasional comment. When there is a comment the initials LR are included for Lori Rhodes and RR for Ray Rhodes. We have also included a seven day guide and commentary for ladies. It will be very helpful to the reader to look up all Scripture references and to use the commentary/study guide at the conclusion of the book. Though this book is specifically designed for girls and ladies (ages ten to twenty-nine) we think that women of all ages will find it useful. We also believe that this book, as it is presently designed, will be helpful to parents as they seek to raise daughters to be both inwardly and outwardly beautiful. Many girls from age ten and up will be able to read and grasp the basic concepts of this book. Younger ladies will benefit as their parents guide them through the pearls of wisdom contained in this book.
